Nature Positive Student Ambassador Programme
We invite students from universities, colleges and higher education institutions to join our international network to take action and volunteer for nature on their campuses and communities towards a global Nature Positive goal, as well as to share experiences and resources with other students across the world.
As part of the programme, we provide toolkits of campus-based actions, an accompanying workbook to record your progress during your journey, host monthly Zoom workshops on a range of topics and have friendly WhatsApp Community groups that you can join to get inspired and support each other.
Additionally, we also provide social media resources and other information to inspire action for biodiversity on your campus and within your community and we would love you to share your actions for nature on social media with the #GenerationRestoration. This forms part of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.

Want to find out more about the Nature Positive Student Ambassador Programme?
Hear from our Ambassadors!
I’ve greatly enjoyed the workshops, which provided us with professional and up-to-date knowledge on climate change and biodiversity. They also gave us valuable insights into how young people around the world are working to create nature-positive campuses. Learning about diverse initiatives and sharing experiences with other ambassadors has been both inspiring and empowering.
What I’ve enjoyed the most about the Student Ambassador Programme is that it gave me a sense of purpose and direction. I loved being part of a community where so many young people care about the environment like I do. The tasks pushed me to take real action on my campus, and I got to learn new things like how even small steps can create meaningful change. Most of all, I felt heard, encouraged, and supported throughout the journey.
What I enjoyed most about the Nature Positive Student Ambassador Programme was the enriching and holistic experience it provided. The programme offered a well-rounded understanding of nature-positive principles through engaging sessions on biodiversity, food, waste, advocacy, and more. It created a space to learn, reflect, and take action. I appreciated the balance between learning from global perspectives and applying those insights in local contexts. Being part of a diverse, motivated community of students inspired me to think creatively and act confidently. Overall, it was a meaningful journey that strengthened both my knowledge and my commitment to sustainability.
What I’ve most enjoyed about the Student Ambassador Programme is the opportunity to connect with like-minded students and global sustainability leaders. It has given me a platform to turn ideas into action, especially around food systems and ecosystem restoration. The collaborative environment and shared purpose have been truly inspiring and have strengthened my commitment to creating a nature-positive future on my campus.
