Bikaner celebrates Girl Child Day with 60,000 moringa saplings given to school girls
On 11th October 2022, a festival was held to mark International Girl Child Day. This was organised by Familial Forestry at Dungar College in collaboration with the district administration of Bikaner, which engaged 60,000 school girls. During this festival we discussed the issue of malnutrition and distributed saplings of moringa tree to each girl, as moringa has a high nutritional value.
